My challenge is the tension between a traditional and ‘accurate’ depiction of reality and the actual elusiveness of that reality. It is never concrete or still or ordered, it is in flux - continually distorted by movement both in my eye, position, mood and other cognitive filters, and in that object of desire within its own frame of being.
