BC Cup #5 – november 12, 2011. Hypothermia. Happily, not a single racer went home with this as a prize on Saturday. With a forcast that called for both wind, rain, sleet and more obviously, bitter cold, we had a wonderous BC Cup #5 at the South Surrey bike park. 106 racers graced the course with excellent results, and awesome prizes. Tiny bags of campfire were provided by Poler Stuff. To ensure full functioning fingers. You can see photos at the Daryl-Evans Flickr here. At his Flickr here. Open Women and...

I have a collection of coffee machines, between 15 and 20 at any point in time. My coffee machines include electric, stovetop and countertop models; with drip, press and siphon brewing methods; for home and travel. My funkiest machine is a "Royal coffee maker", a siphon machine I picked up in China. I will definitely share the story and some pictures later. I use pre-ground coffee late at night and early in the morning, so I don't disturb the household with the noise of grinding. By the time I am rea...

Java-Geeks ~ About Us
http://www.java-geeks.com/about
I have been a coffee drinker for years. Coffee, joe, mud, forty weight - whatever you choose to call it. I drink enough coffee in a day to keep an elephant wired, which I feel qualifies me to share some of my opinions and observations - about coffee, not elephants. This website is an opportunity for me to share some of my passion for coffee. If it inspires you to try some different kinds of coffee or brewing techniques, that would make me happy. Java-Geeks ~ Post #1 My Coffee Plant
http://www.java-geeks.com/view/post/1
1 My Coffee Plant. I've been a coffee drinker for years. This is my story. I am a coffee-holic. I started in my teens, and have been a heavy drinker ever since. I favor drip coffee, or espresso, and always black. Instead of the stereotypical tie as a 'dad' gift, my kids know that Starbucks cards will go over better. What does it do for me? I find that it wakes me up in the morning, helps relax me just before bed, is refreshing during the day, and is comfort food when the situation warrants.
