Ramblings of a Jelly Bean. Fall is in the air. October 27, 2008. Except you can’t smell it when you live on the West Coast. It’s the same air all year ’round. I can’t believe it’s been 2 months since last I wrote something. Well, that’s not true. I’ve started a lot of posts and then abandoned them because I didn’t have time to complete them and then entirely forgot about them. I’ll write more about the work opportunity soon. I haven’t quite made a decision. Cheers to stress! N-Y-C… Here I come! Right bef...

The (he)art and science of stomach-fueled wanderings. February 10, 2015. February 4, 2016. Carneros and Sonoma Townsite Wine Tour. We visited the Sonoma/Carneros wine country most recently with a medium-sized group, and as part of the Carneros wine region, Cline Cellars. With lunch in our sights, VJB Vineyard and Cellars. After the sommelier at VJB recommended St. Francis Winery. One of our favorites, to the red wine enthusiasts in our party, but as we were traveling with a couple of Niagara ex-pats who ...

Wine tasting at Roche. SanFrancisco....

Wine tasting at Roche. Du har sett hans filmer. Kolla nu in Francis Ford Coppola Winery.
A Wino's Guide to Wine Country. Wednesday, January 4, 2012. Sonoma Roche Family Winery. Was the second winery we took in on New Years Day. This winery is right in downtown Sonoma just off the famous Sonoma plaza. It offers both indoor and outdoor tasting. It was a beautiful day, so we opted to sit outside. The patio was quaint and had picnic tables, a fire pit and trees with a large tree growing right in the center. Here is a picture of it:. The Roche Family Winery is still owned and operated by the Roch...
