Monday, August 27, 2012. They make kites together. Monday, August 6, 2012. Charleston: A Dreamy Vacation. The starfishes were different. The water was warm. And the cousins were a blast. Our trip to Charleston was just plain great. I feel like at this point, I'm that annoying person who keeps telling folks how great our vacation was and how we can't wait to do it again. But there you go. I'll be that person. It was great. And we can't wait to do it again. Looking fabulous in their new Folly Beach dresses.

Friday, September 28, 2012. Great Grandpa Paul celebrated his 90th birthday last weekend and the whole Bressler clan drove down to Vancouver to help celebrate. It was a whirlwind tour (sorry to have missed you, Vancouver and Portland friends! But it was well worth the trek. Here's Mandy chatting with Paul and Peggy. Friday, November 4, 2011. Stella is obsessed with fairies at the moment. She walks and runs like a fairy - flapping her imaginary wings at all times - and wants to find woodland sprites every time we walk in the woods. It's pretty darn sweet. So when she asked to be a Flower Fairy for Halloween, we jumped all over it. And what's better than one Flower Fairy? I think Phoebe's crown lasted all of two minutes.). It's become a tradition to carve pumpkins with the Bressler. For a fun evening! I love that kids...

Wednesday, June 22, 2011. My hope is that they'll always know it feels better to hug than hurt. My hope is that they hold each other fiercely when they need love and understanding. My hope is that they give each other space when they need love and understanding. My hope is that they forgive one another for who they are and what they do. My hope is that they'll make fun of me and Brian together. (For two giggling daughters are easier to swallow than one.). My hope is that they hold hands when they're older.
