Scherbel Family Blog: March 2006
http://scherbelsabroad.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 28, 2006. Fun in the sun. Well, the new fun thing to do at our house is to put our little inflatable pool on the trampoline. The kids are really enjoying the. Jump and splash combination. Sydney also gets out and lies on the trampoline to dry off and make “snow angels.". It’s pretty funny, as it is 85 degrees with a UV index of 15 out of 16. Alba Luz or I sit on the side of the trampoline to help them recover from any unintentional dives into the water. Ahhh, the fun of living in Honduras!

Saturday, May 03, 2008. Abbaye Royale de Chaalis. We didn't go in to see what was inside, but it was beautiful from the outside. Maybe if the Challis family comes to visit us we will go back and take a tour! It's really crazy how many amazing things are just hidden around the countryside. There are treasures everywhere! Scherbel Family Blog: June 2007
http://scherbelsabroad.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 10, 2007. As a capstone to our stay in Honduras, Sarah and I took a trip to an island off the North Coast of Honduras, called Roatan, to SCUBA dive and relax a little before our big move. We had heard that Roatan and the other Bay Islands were beautiful and had some of the best diving in the world. We were not disappointed. We went with some friends from the Embassy, who are regulars on the island. They were fun to hang out with and were a great help in showing us around.

Scherbel Family Blog: August 2006

Tuesday, August 08, 2006. We were cutting it a little close, but I made it back to the States in time for the birth this time around. As hard as it was to be separated from my family for six weeks, the reunion at the airport just about made up for it. You can imagine the scene, as I came down the escalator and passed security, when Carrie, Sydney, and Lauren all ran up to me yelling “Daddy, Daddy! She was 18 inches long and 7 lbs. 6 oz, which is our largest so far. She has long eyelashes, like ou...We ha...

Wednesday, November 07, 2007. Suyapa and I made it over to London on Friday for a day. Well, it turned into a day AND a night because we missed our flight back home and had to sleep at the airport. Yuck! But before that we had a wonderful time hopping on and off the open-top double decker bus all around the city. I would love to go back again when I can spend a few days to really see it up close. Wednesday, November 07, 2007. Wednesday, November 07, 2007. Wednesday, November 07, 2007. Kind King, Wicked Q...

I can't believe how fast time flies! Mom sent a cute new grey dress for her. And a princess lunchbox that Sydney can't wait to take to school tomorrow.

Scherbel Family Blog: February 2008
http://scherbelsabroad.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 26, 2008. For the 10th anniversary of the beginning of our family we took a trip to Paris. We stayed east of the city right near the Disneyland Park. We surprised our kids in the morning, got them all bundled up (it was below freezing all day) and went to the Happiest Place on Earth. Because of the freezing temperatures the park wasn't crowded and we could practically walk on every ride. It was awesome. Tuesday, February 26, 2008. Rachel is so cute. Tuesday, February 26, 2008.
