Blog: April 2012
http://blog.rocketguy.net/2012_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 5, 2012. I have been busy with other things this past month or so since I last posted. So I haven't made any significant progress on this project but am now settling back into the project. I have had a few ideas of how to make things work however. So that's all for now. New post coming soon hopefully. Monday, April 2, 2012. Well, it is my geeky way of proposing. It didn't work out as I had hoped, but it still is/was a semi success. What was the problem? Blog: The Soldering Begins
http://blog.rocketguy.net/2012/09/the-soldering-begins.html
Monday, September 10, 2012. So now that I have all the parts I needed to create our center pieces, the work begins. I put it off a little while so I could get some help from my little brother. I am glad I did. It took longer than hoped to get as far as I have come. But at this point, I can do it all myself. We started by loading the boot loader(shown on my previous post. Blog: Buttons part 1
http://blog.rocketguy.net/2012/03/buttons-part-1.html
Thursday, March 1, 2012. With my first post, I decided to document the building process of my "button" project. Basically the project is a jeopardy like game with wireless buttons for my wedding reception (as well as for future use). Ideally the buttons will have multiple functions. Buzz in mode (jeopardy style). Multiple choice (press on the side you want to select). Color mode (just cycle through colors). As I think of more. Today I have assembled my first step towards the final product.

Blog: POLARIS
http://blog.rocketguy.net/2012/04/what-is-polaris-it-is-my-geeky-way-of.html
Monday, April 2, 2012. Well, it is my geeky way of proposing. It didn't work out as I had hoped, but it still is/was a semi success. All the places Polaris would take her, would be significant to us in some way. Then at the end of the hunt, would be me. What was the problem? My plan is to get it operational at some point. But as I am now getting married on 9-29-2012, the main purpose of why I was making this is now not needed ( read here as to how it actually went down. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Blog: Change's
http://blog.rocketguy.net/2012/06/changes.html
Thursday, June 7, 2012. So the "Button Project" has undergone a major change. It is no longer buttons. Basically we decided there would not be enough time at our reception to do a game as well as everything else we wanted to do. So we will no longer need the button project. What does that mean for what I have to do? So I still get to make a bunch of center pieces. It is a project still. But much easier. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Awesome Inc. theme. Blog: August 2012
http://blog.rocketguy.net/2012_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 8, 2012. So I have finally figured out what I am doing for our center pieces. By that I mean how I am doing it not conceptually what I am doing. So I finally feel like I am making some progress. Only 50 days or so left. I can't wait to see them in action. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Awesome Inc. theme. Powered by Blogger.
