From the Bay Area. Take Interstate 580 toward Tracy. Continue on Interstate 205 past Tracy and merge onto i5 North. Immediately exit onto CA-120 E/ Yosemite Ave. Continue on CA-120 E After a short jog onto CA-99 N. After 17mi turn left onto Walnut Ave. 11278 Walnut is on the right. Pause and receive your "Hold harmless agreement" from our Uniformed Volunteer. Drive on the unpaved driveway at walking speed. No more than 4 miles per hour. Take Interstate 5 or CA-99 toward Manteca. Take CA-120 E from 5 or 99.

Every year Troops decide not to participate in Rocket Jamboree, because the scouts and their families cannot afford the registration costs. You can sponsor scouts to reduce the costs to all the participants. We supply each participant with over $200 (retail) worth of rocket kits and motors, and let them register for less than $100. We would like to lower the cost to the scouts even further, to allow more scouts to experience this exciting event. Your sponsorship can make this possible.

Sunday Morning Schedule 10/5/14. NO ON SITE REGISTRATION. MAXIMUM OF 150 SCOUTS PER SESSION. 7:30am - Cub Scouts and guests check-in. 8:30am - Presentation of Colors. 9am - 12pm Launch Session. 12:00 - 12:30 Lunch (register for a meal at our on-site snack shack). 12:30 - 12:40 Exit the site to make way for the afternoon session(one way road traffic controls will be in effect). What should we wear? All these events are uniformed events, each participant must wear the official field uniform of their unit. Registered adult leaders are to wear their uniforms as well. As this is an outdoor event, bring jackets or coats, gloves and other appropriate clothing. It could be foggy in the morning. It may rain. Obviously, I haven't been keeping the blog up too well lately as my last post prior to this one is from July of last year, but here's this post finally, and I hope to post more regularly as this year goes along.
