Monday, August 04, 2008. This summer has continued to be a busy time. We have had many visitors from the Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio areas. My guests write such nice notes in my guest book and thought I would share one. This one is from the "three girlfriends" - Jacksboro and Runaway Bay, Texas. Thank you for the lovely stay. The 3 girlfriends enjoyed laughing, talking to your rooster, watching the deer and SHOPPING! Posted by Rocking Ox Gastehaus @ 9:39 AM 0 comments. The Quiet Warmth of Home.

Sunday, October 01, 2006. ROCKING OX GASTEHAUS HISTORY. The remodeling of the "barn" began during the summer of 2004 and open for guests in March 2005. The whole process was a labor of love for me. My vision was to retain the rustic qualities, but add some modern amenities. Posted by Rocking Ox Gastehaus @ 7:48 AM. Comments: Post a Comment. Click Here For More Photos.
