This was the 6th time I had blocked out a date on the calendar to climb this route in winter conditions, but it was the first time that I didn’t have to cancel it due to poor avalanche conditions or poor weather. We finally did it, and we actually summited! It helped that I had also done this route during the summer as a rock climb.
