Ben Hiant is a great hill to climb. It’s varied, it’s got history, and the views are absolutely awe-inspiring. At a leisurely pace, the walk normally takes about an hour each way, made easy by the fact that the road climbs its western flank and knocks a few hundred feet off the legwork. Did I mention the views from the top? A more unusual view of Ben Hiant (and the only one I have from anywhere near ground level). The line of Loch Mudle draws the eye out to Rhum, Eigg and Skye.

This is really good and we should see them all today. We also found out that there is a small orphanage started by pastor Eric's and we will get to visit them.
