RC Idea Factory: Chassis update.
http://rcideafactory.blogspot.com/2010/11/chassis-update.html
Tuesday, November 30, 2010. I took a little time to sand the wood filler down on the chassis. Since my youngest daughter (7 months) was sleeping, I didn't break out the electric sander, so I quickly tired and decided that the experiment didn't warrant a perfect finish anyway. Out came the primer, and a few moments later this is what we have:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Where I am, when I am online. Cars in the Garage. View my complete profile. RC Idea Factory: Progress on the Wild One chassis
http://rcideafactory.blogspot.com/2010/11/progress-on-wild-one-chassis.html
Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Progress on the Wild One chassis. A Little Chunky. Not that it's heavy, it LOOKS chunky. In fact, it is pretty lightweight. If the strength is good, this little number will be a winner. The next version will be made out of 3mm aircraft ply instead. In order to save weight, which will in turn make it less likely to break (I hope! November 29, 2010 at 6:20 PM. I was a bit skeptical on the Hornet chassis but this is pure art. Great work and good luck with the build.

the ultima house: Return of the Scorpion
http://ultimahouse.blogspot.com/2014/07/i-guess-you-all-know-great-news-finally.html
Mardi 22 juillet 2014. Return of the Scorpion. I guess you all know the great news; finally Akira Kogawa. Has revealed the project he's been working on for several years: the ANCESTOR of the Ultima, the return of the famous Scorpion. Of course the next step would be to rerelease all the glorious cars from the era, like the Optima, Ultima and Javelin (my favourite), but I guess it's only a limited phenomena. Such a pity. Hello, how can I contact you? I found an Ultima and I would like to share your photos.

RC Street Source: Snow Bash Video!!!
http://rcstreetsource.blogspot.com/2011/01/snow-bash-video.html
Tuesday, January 11, 2011. The servos were upgraded to a Hitec HS645MG up front and a standard Futaba in the rear with an alloy servo horn up front and a short plastic one out back to limit the rear steering throw. I did a behind the axle conversion to the front steering and a high steering mod to the rear. I also made a four-link for the rear and a three link up front to eliminate the bat wings. I also cut the bottom of the chassis to allow me to use a stick pack in it. Photos of RC Cars. VRC Pro = FUN!

RC Street Source: Yokomo Gets Funky!
http://rcstreetsource.blogspot.com/2011/10/yokomo-gets-funky.html
Friday, October 7, 2011. I like front wheel drive RC because its challenging. The physics of of motion work against the front engine front drive layout. As the vehicle accelerates its weight shifts from the front toward the rear, reducing the amount of traction by reducing the amount of weight over the front wheels. That means chassis setup and driving skill are very important to to getting the most out of a FWD RC car. Photos of RC Cars. Carbon chassis parts for Optima by Xtraspeed. VRC Pro = FUN! Balli...

RC Street Source: Axial's New Super Bad Truck
http://rcstreetsource.blogspot.com/2011/10/axials-new-super-bad-truck.html
Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Axial's New Super Bad Truck. Many Americans have an inner redneck. The part that likes Coors and Four-by-fours, talking country and eating pork. I do. I quit drinking but I love my 4X4! Roads are an option and I will park it on your front lawn. I ain't scared! Like I ain't got a compound bow in there. What does this have to do with RC? The Wraith™ is designed to handle a wide variety of terrain including high speed wide open desert, forest trails and extreme crawling....

Best wishes for 2013! It's been a year since I last wrote on my blog so I guess it's a bit of a surprise but I'm still alive and kicking! I've had a lot of things to do last year (but nothing on the optima front except some spare parts for the mini-z optima) so I left the blog unbusy. What's the status of the Optimania these days? PS I've begun a new blog. About mini-z autoscales if you care :D. Liens vers ce message blog. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Did you own this car? Best wishes for 2013!

Besides, a new RC shop has open the gates for us, vintage lovers! Marwan's (yes THE Marwan) new webshop proposes his well-known bodies, decals, tires repros at a more interesting price than ebay. You should try the new marwanrc.com. The long awaited for OT-66 are finally available. I'll post some comments when I get mines. :D. Liens vers ce message blog. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
