Tuesday, August 26, 2008. A Lovely Summer in Maine. Before Sarah and I headed across the country we spent a few days enjoying beautiful Maine! I got to meet some of Sarah's friends and had a fun night of dinner and played a couple games of "Scene It; Friend's Edition" and it was a ton of fun! But before long, it was time to hit the road! Tuesday, June 26, 2007. My Solo Trek up Mt. Massive. June 25, 2007. What a great hike! The summit of Mt. Massive was my 8th 14er.only 36 to go, haha! Here's a picture of Mt. Massive from the road. The summit is the second peak from the left. The trail I took led me to the saddle between those two peaks to the left, South Massive and Mt. Massive, and then I climbed the ridge north (to the right) to the summit! I started on the Colorado Trail, but here I go, connecting with the main Mt. Massive Trail.

Tuesday, October 30, 2007. My Second October Summit.and a Windy One! Sunday, October 28, 2007. The agenda for the day was Mt. Sherman and Gemini, a neighboring 13er and one of Colorado's Centennials, but weather proved to be a bit of an obstacle this day, unlike Saturday on Antero. We started at 6:30am and it was COLD! We bundled up ready to start and had to get a picture! I think I look like a turtle! This was our first view of the summit, before the sun even rose! And of course, here's our summit shot!

As some of you know, I set out with a couple friends to hike Kit Carson and Challenger Point this past weekend, but what most of you do not know, is that we climbed the wrong mountain!
