One Magic Dragon: The Dragon Keeper is in a Journey
http://onemagicdragon.blogspot.com/2011/08/dragon-keeper-is-in-journey.html
Sunday, 7 August 2011. The Dragon Keeper is in a Journey. The Dragon Keeper has been on a journey. A multiple journey. He got a telephone call. Mother was dying. He took the first fly over. (Actually a connection of flights that were a challenge on their own, mostly because of American safety measures and requirements, a night mare! The Dragon Keeper arrived in time to see and talk to mother, she died two days later. Chinese have a saying: “No one is alone until they lose their mother”. Loving, hoping, d...

One Magic Dragon: OUR TIMES
http://onemagicdragon.blogspot.com/2012/05/our-times.html
Thursday, 31 May 2012. At times it can be difficult to understand what is happening in our world. We can see the same kind of struggle at a different levels. For example, our present day materialism with all its financial and employment crisis against a deeper sense of community, of common good and care for humanity and the planet. They are aspects of the same age long struggle. A conflict that is as much universal as it can be personal. Haven't we learned our lesson? Every time we try to find meaning, t...

One Magic Dragon: July 2012
http://onemagicdragon.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, 28 July 2012. At times we need to be more mind oriented, more mental. Nothing wrong with that. Our mind, our intellectual powers are one of the traits that makes us human and that can carry us to success in our evolutionary path. Nevertheless there is a danger of viewing ourselves as mental beings or of becoming to mental. That is, to believe that only the mind is trustworthy and any other source of knowledge and information should fall into the suspicious category. Posted by Magic Dragon.

One Magic Dragon: The Free Market
http://onemagicdragon.blogspot.com/2012/07/free-market.html
Thursday, 12 July 2012. By now we all know that the Free Market is not an absolute fact of economic practice. The old believe that “The invisible hand” would bring about equilibrium, stability and justice thus maximizing the common good is long gone. One of the problems with this conception is that at its root was the believe that individual actions, seeking individual gain would bring a general well being. What does this say about the role of controllers and supervision? Today most wealth is “crea...

One Magic Dragon: ATTACHMENT AND LOVE
http://onemagicdragon.blogspot.com/2011/10/attachment-and-love.html
Saturday, 15 October 2011. Not every kind of human attachment and love are the same. While we all know that attachment of the selfish kind is an inadvisable form of attachment, the attachment to our loved ones, to ideals, etc. is a part of life. Without such attachment life can turn cold, indifferent and inhuman. Indifference will lead to coldness, to remain unattached and distant. How can empathy and relations develop then? Mahayana Buddhism knew it well: It is better to accept risks, suffering and vuln...

One Magic Dragon: JOURNEY TO HELL
http://onemagicdragon.blogspot.com/2011/07/journey-to-hell.html
Wednesday, 20 July 2011. I've been to hell. Not the biggest news you will come across today. If you think about it, I am sure you have made the journey to hell (and back) many times too. You know what I'm talking about. It is from that point that reconstruction may begin. The fire. Has taken away what was in our way and places us in a state that allows us to recognise what we truly are and thus, sets us free to restart a new self to begin a new journey. It is then when we start to return from hell. The j...
