8220;We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.” Joseph Campbell. Wednesday, September 8, 2010. FIrst Day of Pre-School. I can't believe that my baby boy is ready to start pre. School. Though it's a Time for Two's class at our church, it is still two days a week and we are calling it school. For the last month we have been talking about school, reading Llama Llama Misses Mama - the cutest book about a little Llama's first day of pre. Down to ke...

http://ancona-adoption.blogspot.com/2009/03/aspen.html
8220;We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.” Joseph Campbell. Friday, March 20, 2009. Four days, spring skiing, good friends.I had an awesome little get away. It was my first time away from Jack and I think I did ok. I missed both my men but it was so nice to have a break. I went to Aspen with very dear friends who I traveled with years ago. We had a ski in/ski out condo at the base of Snowmass. I was the loser Mrs. Robinson! And, cute boys!

Butterflies and Mud Pies: sweet relief
http://butterfliesandmudpies.blogspot.com/2012/07/sweet-relief.html
Butterflies and Mud Pies. Finding GOOD in every day. Monday, July 23, 2012. The last two weeks have been a blur. What started off as a routine mammogram; a 40th birthday present from my gynecologist, turned into an odyssey of anger, fear and extreme compartmentalization (a super power that I was unaware that I possessed, until now.) In a moment, this control-lover had no choice but to relinquish everything to "what might be" and just move through. And "how will I's? July 23, 2012 at 9:52 AM. I'm an at-ho...

Butterflies and Mud Pies. Finding GOOD in every day. Monday, February 13, 2012. Coverage of Help Haiti. Logan's class had a great Skype with Dr. Campbell on Friday at school. I can't imagine how much they've taken away from this experience and the knowledge they've been given about how their money will actually help the people of Haiti. I am so grateful to everyone that was involved. Next stop, Disney's Friend for Change! Sunday, February 5, 2012. Logan came home daily toting huge bags of change and cash...

Butterflies and Mud Pies: January 2012
http://butterfliesandmudpies.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Butterflies and Mud Pies. Finding GOOD in every day. Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Today marks the last of our family's many January birthdays, with Riley turning eight years old! Sometimes this little gal, who continues to maintain her "old soul" status, seems older than eight and THANKFULLY, sometimes she seems younger, too. Either way, I'm confident that she's right where she's supposed to be. Happy Birthday to my sweet Riley girl. I love you! Monday, January 30, 2012. Riley had a great meet this weekend...

Butterflies and Mud Pies. Finding GOOD in every day. Monday, July 16, 2012. Shoestring living: squash summer spending. The summer months are bank account drainers around here, whether we want to save or not.
