Quietly Tucked into the Forest. Larr; Back To Projects. We designed and built this home, which straddles and adjoins a beautiful creek that flows into Mica Bay, Lake Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Materials from the land - sand from the natural beach, rocks from the lake bed and land, bark and branches from the trees - were taken to the studio and used to develop the exterior material selections, which are all fire resistant and low or no maintenance.
