CRESTVIEW — A 26-year-old woman was charged with stealing beer from a Tom Thumb without entering the convenience store. On April 2, the woman drove her red Chevrolet Impala to the Tom Thumb at 994 James Lee Boulevard. She parked the car at the edge of the parking lot, which was out of the sight of the cashier. Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Suspect in Cape Coral police shooting member of 'KGB' gang. New details are emerging about what happened early Saturday morning, when a gang member reportedly fired three shots at a Cape Coral Police officer during a traffic stop. Police have reported that Yousel Lopez Rivera, 20, a passenger in the car, shot Officer David Wagoner three times at point blank range, causing life-threatening injuries. Wagoner, a husband and father of three, is expected to make a full recovery.
