=== A TALE OF TWO CITIES ===

A TALE OF TWO CITIES = =. Thursday, August 15, 2013. Monticello (not the one in Utah). A couple weekends ago, Rod and I took a day trip to visit "Monticello", the home of Thomas Jefferson (he was referred to as "TJ" a few times on the tour) in Charlottesville, VA. We never figured out who Charlottesville is named for, but we had a really nice time visiting the house and the gardens. Here we are (I'm the one on the left, wink, wink). The weather was great, and we had a really nice time! The Class of 2012.

A TALE OF TWO CITIES = =. Friday, February 24, 2012. Four-day, make that Five-day, Weekend! We made a little escape for President's Day weekend - joined by some of our family, and some friends (Aubrey was also with us, but she was taking a much deserved nap when this photo was taken) Don't the little girls look bright and energetic? We had 2 days of beautiful sunrises - Mackenzie said "the sky is pink", "the sky is purple", and it was, then it changed to oranges and yellows! Back at the cabin,. Pa" spent...

A TALE OF TWO CITIES = =. Saturday, January 14, 2012. It all boils down to just 3 shipping cartons, hard to believe. Here's the "Class of 2011" - 36 graduates this year! The Canine theme was noticeably present this year - above are a few of the "top dogs". Aubrey was the main Stylist for 2011, coordinating blankets with baby gowns and socks. Considering there is no advance planning/pairing/matching, she did an awesome job of coming up with cute sets. A few of my favorites, below:. Rod and Diane Larsen.

A TALE OF TWO CITIES = =. Thursday, November 8, 2012. The Speed of Life. Today I decided I needed to drive the new State Highway 130 here in the Lone Star State. It's been on the news all over the country because it has a posted speed limit of:. My decision to go on this joy ride was based on 3 things: 1) gas is under $3 a gallon (yep, $2.99 here! Here are my observations, now that I've made the drive:. The first exit was about 8 miles into the trip, and I noted the posted toll fees. If you have a Te...

A TALE OF TWO CITIES = =. Tuesday, January 15, 2013. The Class of 2012. Boxing Day, December 26, 2012 found us following what has become a Christmas Tradition of sorts - assembling Newborn Kits for the LDS Humanitarian Center. This year's all-volunteer crew (I volunteered them! Were Aubrey, Grandma Bywater, and Rod. Thank you volunteers - very, very much. Grandma B handled all the counting and folding (and recounting for accuracy) of cloth diapers for the kits - which was a HUGE help. So here's the Class...

McLeod Family of 4!: July 2011

http://saraandseth.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

McLeod Family of 4! Saturday, July 16, 2011. A day at the zoo. Kyla, Owen, my mom, and I went to the zoo in Arizona this past week. This is the 2nd time Kyla has been. We took her when she was younger and she had no emotion or reaction while we were there. Three hours after we returned home all she would say was aminals, aminals, aminals. Flamingos were our last stop, and she wanted to look at them for 2 minutes and was content. (we bought a postcard with a flamingo on it, just for her). Kyla loved the p...

Thursday, July 8, 2010. Time to catch up. It has been over six weeks since I last updated our blog. Needless to say we have been busy! The twins were born May 23rd via C-section at 32weeks and 5 days gestational age. Heidi was first at 4 pounds 3 ounces, 16 1/2 inches long. Garrett was 4 pounds 5 ounces and 17 1/2 inches long. McLeod Family of 4!: Red Eye Flight

http://saraandseth.blogspot.com/2011/07/red-eye-flight.html

McLeod Family of 4! Saturday, July 16, 2011. So we just returned home on a red eye from Arizona. We left at 3am GA time and arrived 3am Arizona time, to say the least Kyla and Owen's clocks are going crazy. Kyla loves flying, she just loves the idea of planes and looking out the window. Not only does she like the flight part of flying but she gets so excited for the train (the track system in ATL airport, that brings you to baggage claim and the other terminals). Seth, Sara, Kyla, Owen, and Hero. I am ta...

http://saraandseth.blogspot.com/2011/02/snow-sun-and-family.html

McLeod Family of 4! Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Snow, Sun, and Family. This year I am going to be more on top of blogging, and taking pictures. This past month was lots of fun! We started off the year with great friends, then a couple weeks into January our busy life was put on hold so a snowed-in week! It was so much fun and Kyla just loved the snow. But by the end of the month we were basking in the sun at the park! Crazy weather, let me tell ya! I have tons of fun taking her, and Seth even finds it fun.

http://saraandseth.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html

McLeod Family of 4! Saturday, May 23, 2009. Kyla's Big Girl Bed. They wanted it out of their house before they come back, we said deal. So yesterday Seth took part of the bed down to our house, this morning another part, and he will have to take another trip down. This bed is massive! I don't plan to move her into a big girl bed anytime soon, but to know we have one for her is awesome! Seth, Sara, Kyla, Owen, and Hero. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Seth, Sara, Kyla, Owen, and Hero.
