Sunday, November 20, 2011. Driving Test Day is HERE! The last few months have zipped by. I got to drive a good bit on my September vacation and now I'm scheduled and ready to take the final road test. Meaning, TOMORROW I could get my drivers license if all goes well! I'm hoping to snag a GPS during the black Friday sales, but what I really want to share with you is my brand new speedometer. Yes I have a speedometer and NO car yet! The first one was my bioptics. This great company called Intellitronix.

Friday, December 4, 2009. I had asked for about a 6:30 am pick up. The para-transit bus showed up at 7:03 am. Not bad. This morning some of my colleagues were on the bus. It was so funny because we ended up going to my workplace to drop them off, but thank God I didn't have to get off the bus there today! Monday, November 21, 2011. My Road Test Results: Giving Thanks 11/21/11. It was not what I expected. Then again, I had no idea what to expect anyways. She told me I had to take the eye test! I was like. What? No one ever told me to put the car in Neutral, but I did it right anyhow. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Bioptic Recertification Day: 06/30/11. I was glad to get to visit with my Dr. again and yet nervous about the test I must undergo for recertification. The thing that almost ended my training this time last year was a visual field test I had to take to get re-certified to continue training to drive. Friday, February 19, 2010. A Year Ago Today. I guess that's selfish, but who can blame me? Over the past 9 months my career advancements have taken over much of my personal life. I'm happy to report things are much more settled these days on that front. I've contacted Jennifer a few times with little success in getting any road trip training scheduled. This week I'm amping it up. I finally feel I have adequate time and energy needed to devote to learning how to drive. As always, I'll keep you posted.
