HOLY TRINITY CHURCH ROEHAMPTON: Gallery
http://holytrinityroehampton.blogspot.com/p/gallery_9549.html
HOLY TRINITY CHURCH ROEHAMPTON. Here is a slideshow featuring several views of Holy Trinity, and the area around us - mostly taken from the top of our spire when it was being repaired last year. They give a fair indication of what the church looks like, but what is missing is the people. It is the people who make Holy Trinity what it is. What you are seeing is the beautiful legacy of those who went before us. They were very different to us, but the spirit lives on. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

HOLY TRINITY CHURCH ROEHAMPTON: Dawkins' Serious Point
http://holytrinityroehampton.blogspot.com/2011/11/dawkins-serious-point.html
HOLY TRINITY CHURCH ROEHAMPTON. Wednesday, 9 November 2011. I was looking through the most recent edition of 'Private Eye' yesterday when I found the following article:. Fans of Professor Richard Dawkins fear he may be losing his grip on reality, following his article on the Guardian website last week, explaining why he turned down a recent invitation to debate with the American Christian philosopher William Lane Craig. I wouldn't, and I won't.'. All this seems pretty dreadful. And indeed, Dawkins is...

HOLY TRINITY CHURCH ROEHAMPTON: The police rubbing their hands
http://holytrinityroehampton.blogspot.com/2011/08/police-rubbing-their-hands.html
HOLY TRINITY CHURCH ROEHAMPTON. Monday, 29 August 2011. The police rubbing their hands. The police have had a fair bit of stick for their handling of the riots in their early stages. I think they underestimated the fact that it was August, frankly,. Then the CCTV footage gets broadcast. The police haul in the ones they recognise. Bang to rights! We can go easy on you, but you will have to help us. Were any of the Black Hand gang there? What were they doing? Was Dodgy Darren there? Http:/ www.rhmc....

HOLY TRINITY CHURCH ROEHAMPTON: After the Politicians have said their Piece
http://holytrinityroehampton.blogspot.com/2011/08/after-politicians-have-said-their-piece.html
HOLY TRINITY CHURCH ROEHAMPTON. Monday, 29 August 2011. After the Politicians have said their Piece. It has all been a bit depressing. The Riots have happened, and the politicians have had their say. Isn't extraordinary how almost all their ruminations have been have been at the abstract societal level? There is something wrong with our education! There is something wrong with society! The kids will still be there, though. The problems will still be there,. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

HOLY TRINITY CHURCH ROEHAMPTON: June 2011
http://holytrinityroehampton.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
HOLY TRINITY CHURCH ROEHAMPTON. Wednesday, 29 June 2011. A woman, 30ish, approached the car, and then suddenly, and I would have missed it if I hadn't been looking directly at them, she handed the man in the driving seat something, he gave her something. She put whatever it was down the front of her teeshirt, and walked straight off. The car then drove off immediately. Friday, 24 June 2011. On Wednesday evening we had our Poetry Evening. We hadn't advertised the 'do' very well, but we reached sevente...

HOLY TRINITY CHURCH ROEHAMPTON: No Riots in Roehampton
http://holytrinityroehampton.blogspot.com/2011/08/no-riots-in-roehampton.html
HOLY TRINITY CHURCH ROEHAMPTON. Thursday, 11 August 2011. No Riots in Roehampton. Roehampton is a place of multiple deprivation. We have the highest index of child deprivation in the Borough of Wandsworth. From the outside, you would have thought that we would be a prime candidate for the sort of lawlessness that we have seen on TV and read about in the papers. Fourthly, I must pay credit to the youth services and police groups that have been working with young people here for a long time: Connexions, Ca...

HOLY TRINITY CHURCH ROEHAMPTON: July 2011
http://holytrinityroehampton.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
HOLY TRINITY CHURCH ROEHAMPTON. Sunday, 3 July 2011. A Tiny Bit of a Silver Lining. Well, in the Doncaster scheme I mentioned we had a local playing field, which was secure. It had a chain-link fence which was secure, and it had one gate. One person at the gate could monitor everyone who came in and out. But the field was huge. An adult in one part of the field could not monitor what was going on in another part of the field. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). There was an error in this gadget.
