Monday, April 27, 2009. Surgery postponed - infection needs to go. Update 27th April 2009:. A new surgery date will be established later. In the meantime, this week he will have a CAT scan so that the Ear Nose and Throat doctor can see what he needs to do for the surgery. Dad has good days and bad days so things are a day at a time. However, he is looking forward to a trip to Holland at the end of May and is staying focused on that. Mum is recovering from a pulled back muscle but otherwise doing well.

Monday, June 1, 2009. Shortly Dad will have a blood transfusion and he continues to work with the doctors on pain medication. In the meantime, Mum and Dad are carrying on with the day to day things and enjoying the recent nice weather. Feel free to reach out and say "Hello", Dad would love to hear from you. Wednesday, October 1, 2008. Mum got a 6 month all clear and teeth in sight for Dad. 1st October 2008: Last week Mum had a follow up appointment from surgery and was given the all clear for the next 6 months - so that's great news! She has a check up in 6 months time. In the meantime Dad has had several appointments with the dental hospital, lots of fittings for the final obturator. When the final obturator is ready it will get dentures attached - teeth! So things are moving along well.
