http://maimeandpapajoe.blogspot.com/2010/10/october_17.html
Sunday, October 17, 2010. On our way home from Mountian View we stopped by the Lake. Using the timer is such a nice. Perk to have when there is no one to take the picture but making to your spot. In time evidently detracted from my smile ha ha! We really were having a GREAT day! Brothers and Sisters come together to visit Papaw during his illness. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Joe and Marlene: February 2009
http://maimeandpapajoe.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Starting to look like a house! We sure like the new addition with the dormer over looking the west side of the house. This is the view from inside looking out the dormer windows, two of which are in the bathroom (on the left) and the other 3 are in the open middle area between the bedrooms. I am standing in the back loft bedroom looking toward the front. Very hard to tell the layout without being there and looking through so many 2x4's and 2x6's. It's great though. This is s...

Joe and Marlene: January 2009
http://maimeandpapajoe.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 16, 2009. Here in the back yard some excavation had begun at the time I took this picture. Each and every bit of work brings wonderful progress. Getting rid of the huge piles of dirt and rock just outside in the backyard is exciting. The doorway you see on the lower level is garage storage which opens to the backyard. Garage is now level and free of mud.that means no more pumping - yahoo! Tuesday, January 6, 2009. Encased in ice still. Monday, January 5, 2009. I told some of you that we h...

Joe and Marlene: April 2009
http://maimeandpapajoe.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 29, 2009. I had a BAD e-sperience. On April 1st (no foolin) my small burn turned BIG and HOT fast. Some of you know all about it. I can finally show the pictures. Much of this area is already turning green with growth but it was a very intense day for me to say the least. Thankfully Bo and Joe were close by and were able to come to my rescue and keep it from getting any larger. Under control yet still hot. 4-29 We have a garage floor. This is the house up the road from us that dad and U&...

Joe and Marlene: May 2009
http://maimeandpapajoe.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 26, 2009. As I stepped out the back basement door I nearly landed on Mr. Turtle. He quickly sought cover in his shell and I popped right back in the door! Saturday, May 23, 2009. Cedar Falls. Our early morning hike before the holiday crowds began to arrive and fill the park. Taken from the bridge. Can you get a feel for how high up I was to take this picture? With all the rain we have had in the last few weeks I was very surprised how little water was coming over the Falls and in the river.

Joe and Marlene: December 2009

Friday, December 25, 2009. Hint of snow on Christmas morning. Just a tiny dusting of snow was on the ground this morning - very pretty. Rainfall records in just under 2 days -. This creek was even higher a few hours prior to the picture but it was still overflowing it's banks as we passed on our way to town. Earlier we couldn't even pass by on this road as the water was covering it just enough to cause concern. Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Access to the internet.finally! Back to the left a bit.

Saturday, December 13, 2008. LOOKthe main floor is going in-. Well it's happening, the framing has begun and the crew is working hard to complete this phase. If you look close you can see where the stairs will be-. Pictures don't do the 9' ceilings in the basement justice, they are wonderful! Uncle Bo and Dad are working where the stairs are located. This shot is looking from Caleb's room towards the girls rooms with the doorway where Jake's room was. Hauling the trusses from the front yard to the house.

Coming in from the garage. Pantry just ahead. Kitchen which opens to the deck. Starting to look familiar? Family room from the kitchen. Going in the front door. New to the front room is the view of the dormer at the top of the room just above the porch window. Notice the wonderful trees and how tall they are. We sought r...
