Arrivee Cycling Club: March 2011
http://arrivee.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Host of the 1984 and 1988 US Olympic Cycling Trials. Friday, March 11, 2011. A derogatory reference to a person obsessed with intellectual pursuits for their own sake, who is also deficient in most other human attributes so as to impair the person's smooth operation within society. I think those pretty much sum it up. Essentially, a person whose passion for something exceeds what would be considered "normal" and who often does not heed social norms when talking about the subject or participating in it.

Arrivee Cycling Club: WHY
http://arrivee.blogspot.com/2011/06/why.html
Host of the 1984 and 1988 US Olympic Cycling Trials. Wednesday, June 1, 2011. WHY is it that I ALWAYS have something going on for race day? WHY is it that I can't find training time? WHY is it that when I do get on the bike, it is either raining or some other form of natural disaster? WHY um. WHY. I mean. why am I complaining about this? Why don't I just get out and ride my bike? Why do I care about where I place? Why do I care about the 60 Minutes interview? Think I'll just go for a ride.

Formerly Big Fat Eric: June 2012

Formerly Big Fat Eric. Monday, June 11, 2012. Training for IM CDA has been going well. Finished the last day of my build, with no cooperation from Mother Nature I might add. Last night I took my bike outside to give it a good cleaning. Lo and behold, what do I see, but a nice crack on the leading edge of the seat tube staring back at me. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Formerly Big Fat Eric. Monday, February 27, 2012. New Ride / Argon E-116. It's finally in the Northwest. Here's my new frame, an Argon E-116. Can't wait until it's all built up. Here's what it would look like if I had an extra $8,000 to drop on it. Alas, Jim at CycleMetrix in Coeur d'Alene is swapping my components from the old frame to this new one. Can't wait. If only the snow would go away. Monday, February 13, 2012. Last week I signed up for the Leadman 250. Why did I sign up? John Post, MD's Blog.

Tim Swanson: OUCH!

The miracle isn't that I finished.the miracle is that I had the courage to start. Tuesday, November 18, 2008. So, the tattoo thing turned out to be the easiest, least painful part of my weekend. After watching the Beavs beat the snot out of the poor Cal Bears on Saturday. I stupidly coordinated with Steve to being my journey to strength training nirvana on Sunday morning. And I thought the tattoo was uncomfortable! Steve proceeded to spend almost 90 minutes with this, beating me senseless. I just hope th...
