Friday, March 24, 2006. Day 1-Church and drug testing. After the tests, we all went back to a Vespers service at the JAARS chapel. Then, we went back to the apartments and played some frisbee. Friday, March 24, 2006. Day 3-Turned loose in the hangar. On Tuesday, we began the morning by going to part of the 1/2 day of prayer. We got to spend time praying with JAARS people, which was pretty cool. We then went to a presentation by two ladies from JAARS about the process of joining JAARS. Basically, it is joining Wycliffe Bible Translators. We put the propeller on, then it had to be turned over using the starter with the bottom spark plugs removed to get oil out of the cylinders. Friday, March 24, 2006. Monday morning required us to be at the JAARS aviation building at 8 AM for their weekly meeting. We learned about what was going on in the hangar, and the status of a couple different operations and projects overseas. Most interestingly, JAARS in Cameroon is requesting at turboprop-powered Cessna 210. And a Quest Kodiak. Here is a picture of our group standing in front of a Helio.
