I was born in Cleveland Ohio in 1941. I was interested in art at a very early age working with wood making various objects and working with water-based mediums making two-dimensional pieces. I was encouraged to take summer classes at the Cleveland Institute of Art where I took design and life drawing classes. In high school I took various art courses and was quite sure I wanted to go on in art.

The earliest plexiglass pieces involve the interrelationship between primary simplified forms. Circles and squares of various sizes were worked together to form the visual components of the sculpture. Later sculptures incorporate organic flow patterns that move through and across surfaces. This spatial interplay between simplified geometric shapes and organic form was later worked into the cast bronze pieces. The Grey Art Gallery is announcing a new direction for the business. As of June 29, 2012 the Grey Art Gallery will be changing its name to Converge Gallery. Friday, April 12, 2013. ART IS IN THE AIR. In preparation for our "Fiber and Fairytales" exhibit, Linda Doucette. And I have been dropping yarn bombs in the vicinity of Center and Main Streets in downtown Bloomsburg. We stitched this piece to the tree the other evening just after being interviewed and photographed by the local newspaper. We made the front page of yesterday's edition! So much fun all in the name of art! Linda is just crazy creative! She made these fiber flowers to spruce up the mulch beds.
