Searching For Blue Sea Glass

Searching For Blue Sea Glass. Poems by Roger Stevens. Wednesday, September 10, 2014. In the back bedroom. That was always damp. Dad probably swapped them. For a tuppenny blue. In a house he was demolishing. Maybe in its loft. The glass case jammed beneath a beam. A squirrel, a crow? I can’t remember now. I was probably seven or eight. I think there was a badger. I wonder where they are now. Posted by Roger Stevens. Thursday, September 04, 2014. That pass in a nod. Whizz by in the blink of an eye. To the ...

Searching For Blue Sea Glass: Twenty Five Years

http://rogerstevens.blogspot.com/2014/09/twenty-five-years.html

Searching For Blue Sea Glass. Poems by Roger Stevens. Thursday, September 04, 2014. That pass in a nod. Whizz by in the blink of an eye. Before you can think. Jammed to the rafters. With boxes of laughter. And crates of adventures. And loving hugs crammed into corners. Shoved down the backs of sofas. And hoarded in cupboards. In nooks and in crannies. And even the kitchen sink. Is filled with flowers long gone. Black-eyed Suzies and yellow roses. But their perfume and colours. Who would have expected.

Searching For Blue Sea Glass: May 2013

http://rogerstevens.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

Searching For Blue Sea Glass. Poems by Roger Stevens. Friday, May 31, 2013. And should you see her. Walking up the road. Braced against the cold sea breeze. In her sensible black coat and scarf of pink. And her hat with ear flaps. You might not think that she was special. And she might nod, or smile. And that shaft of sunlight. Striking the shingle, like a jewel. And should you meet her in the library. You might not spare a second glance. But you might share an idle conversation. The well of her knowledge.

Searching For Blue Sea Glass: February 2013

http://rogerstevens.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html

Searching For Blue Sea Glass. Poems by Roger Stevens. Thursday, February 14, 2013. A rose by any other name. We have to talk much louder. But our love remains the same. Posted by Roger Stevens. Tuesday, February 12, 2013. As Kierkegaard Might Have Said. A pocketful of posies. The planet drifts into the meaningless. Universe as so we might as well. Give up now, really. Posted by Roger Stevens. Thursday, February 07, 2013. Doesn’t really need. That it’s not autobiographical. And I would just mention. Jazz ...

OstrichSpeak: Life and then some

http://ostrichspeak.blogspot.com/2005/11/life-and-then-some.html

Ostrich - Speak. Hell what more can i say? Friday, November 11, 2005. Life and then some. I have moved to a lovely big flat with two lovely mad women. As soon i get around to unpacking the last of my boxes i have this feeling i'm going to buying many things for the house. Compulsive decorator. Although much to booma's dismay and violent projectile vomiting there is one set of pink curtains in the living room :) *hug* for Boomsa. Posted by Ostrich @ 10:55 PM. Stacy The Peanut Queen. OstrichSpeak: July 2005

http://ostrichspeak.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html

Ostrich - Speak. Hell what more can i say? Tuesday, July 19, 2005. I had a very long life line on my left palm that extended nearly up to the middle of my wrist. In 7 years as a smoker it’s shrunk considerably to a modest curve that ends just below my mound of Venus. Hopefully I will stay cigarette free and it will work like Wonder-Gro, returning my Life line to its former meandering glory. Flexes muscles in show of strength and resolve*. Posted by Ostrich @ 3:50 PM. London, United Kingdom.

Having a Lovely Time Writing. March 15, 2010. 8212; auntyfruitcake @ 6:39 pm. In flame and fire. Nostrils flare in fresh fear. As plated body glistens in moonlight. Cloudy steam escapes the cave. Like smoke from a witches cauldron. A firecesome dragon anxiously waits. Flashes of lightning illuminate. Struck by paralysing terror. His solemn face briefly silvered. Waiting for the attack.
