My orchestral work, Tectonics. Won first prize in the 3rd Senzoku Contemporary Composition Competition. The Senzoku New Philharmonic's extraordinary performance is now posted on the composition's website. Roger is an exciting and sophisticated young composer and a wonderful orchestrator. It will be fascinating to see how he develops over time. Lapidary orchestrations, formal clarity, and alluringly mercurial surface give his music a strong and personal profile.
