The ramblings of a rambler. Monday, September 26, 2005. Lost in translation in Taiwan. Once again it is time for a long-winded and overdue update. I hope you have the patience to read through it…. We just had a very strong, albeit brief, thunderstorm. I stayed dry in the computer lab, but it really poured for about 30 minutes. That was my big news a couple of weeks ago. I was fairly confident, but I had some trouble with the reading/grammar section, so it was a relief to get my certification. The ramblings of a rambler. Wednesday, December 21, 2005. I'll be home for Christmas! Well, this is it. I'm completely packed and ready to go. I'm leaving my room in about 30 minutes to an hour to go to a going-away party, then some of my fellow students are going to drive me to the bus station. I then have a four-hour bus ride to the airport, followed by twenty-some odd hours of flights, layovers, security checks, and customs. Fun! Am I excited to be going home? You guys are going to be there, right?

It seems a bit strange to me that I have been in Taiwan for almost three months now and this was my first trip to the capitol, but since I have to spend the next two weekends there as well, I guess it's good that I've already seen most of the rest of the island already. The ramblings of a rambler. Tuesday, October 25, 2005. Just a small burglary. I can't believe it's coming up so soon! I'm very excited for this trip - my first trip to Europe and my first chance to see Maiko since August! I have decided to try not to put on any weight before I go because I want to gain all my winter weight ("insulation") while I'm in Italy. That's all for now.
