http://markcarstairs.blogspot.com/2015/07/wonderful-day-saturday.html
Random Ramblings from Sunny Southern CA. Thoughts from a California native currently residing just north of LA. Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Saturday turned out to be a wonderful day. I met up with a couple of groups of people from the website Meetup. I’d actually run the race at a different location with one of them last year. All told, there were six of us who ran together. Not bad since I thought I’d be running by myself. Not that I would trade any of my time on the course. I was having fun. I left home at...

Random Ramblings from Sunny Southern CA: Frustration
http://markcarstairs.blogspot.com/2015/07/frustration.html
Random Ramblings from Sunny Southern CA. Thoughts from a California native currently residing just north of LA. Friday, July 24, 2015. We went on a run early on, and were up 6-2 at one point. But they came back to take half at 7-8. We finished the game at 11-15, which was better than the previous time we played them when the score was 8-15, so that is something. And we had two women subs which I think is some kind of record for us. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Casey and A...

Random Ramblings from Sunny Southern CA. Thoughts from a California native currently residing just north of LA. Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Nice, Quiet Weekend. I hardly did much of anything over the long weekend, and it was wonderful. Saturday was a complete rest day. Sunday was church, ultimate Frisbee, and hanging out with some friends that night – my normal Sunday activities. Monday, I wound up playing ultimate again in the morning and then headed back to the condo to relax again. Links to this post.

http://markcarstairs.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Random Ramblings from Sunny Southern CA. Thoughts from a California native currently residing just north of LA. Tuesday, December 23, 2014. I’m heading north for Christmas in the morning. Yes, this is the latest in December I’ve ever made the trip to my parent’s in Nor Cal, but I have work to do at my new job. Possibly could have taken off a day earlier, but I’m trying to make a good impression. I still think I am, but I want to keep it up. Anyway, have a very Merry Christmas. Links to this post. Random Ramblings from Sunny Southern CA: Rain + Ultimate = My Weekend
http://markcarstairs.blogspot.com/2015/07/rain-ultimate-my-weekend.html
Random Ramblings from Sunny Southern CA. Thoughts from a California native currently residing just north of LA. Monday, July 20, 2015. Rain Ultimate = My Weekend. Stop the presses – we got rain in Southern California in July. And not just a little amount, but between Saturday and Sunday, we got over an inch. I don’t follow weather too closely, but apparently, we had the remnants of a tropical storm hit us this weekend. All I know, it was warm and the rain was much needed. The rain let up overnight, but t...

major revisions: American Idol 7.3
http://majorrevisions.blogspot.com/2008/03/american-idol-73.html
Tuesday, March 25, 2008. American Idol 7.3. American Idol 7.3: The Year They Were Born. Week One of American Idol without Amanda's streaky hair and strong talent. Alas for our rocker chick, America loves barrel horse riding non-talent more than nurses who can actually sing. Tonight's theme - each contestant sings a song from the year they were born. Was "Amazing Grace" written when Kristy Lee Cook was born? So, we won't be hearing the only song she can sing well. So what's in store for tonight? Randy rec...

And the stakes are high - who will miss out on touring with the AI juggernaut this summer? Everyone who makes it past this week makes the tour - tonight is make or break night for someone. Amanda Overmyer: "Back in the USSR".
