FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT ROLFING. Who benefits from Rolfing? New mind-sets have replaced the old in the Rolfing community, making pain a thing of the past. While the work can sometimes be uncomfortable, it is no longer painful. The area of the body worked can vary in sensations and feeling depending upon the existence of chronic stress, injury, and other factors. What are sessions like? A typical Rolfing session begins with an evaluation of the client’s structure. Rolfers are trained to look for where and how restrictions occur, thus allowing the practitioner to be more effective in the sessions. Much of the work is done with the client lying on a standard massage table, while some may be done seated or standing. The duration of a typical Rolfing session is 60-75 minutes. How much do the sessions cost? The cost is $120. Checks, Cash and Credit Cards are accepted.
