Friday, May 27, 2011. Mike turned 8 months yesterday and two days ago, we found his first tooth! Thursday, May 26, 2011. We love sunny beach vacations! Last week we went to Florida to get out of the rain and enjoy some warm weather and sunshine! Florida did not disappoint :) This was our first real trip with 2 kids. We have taken a few short overnighters, but not on a plane and for a week. It harder, but a lot of fun! A little different dynamic than before with just Lizzie, but it was still tons of fun!

Tuesday, September 27, 2011. Happy 1st Birthday to Michael! From this.to this in one year! Michael turned one on Sunday and I can't believe it has been a whole year! He has learned so much in one year and changed so much too. I still cant believe sometimes how lucky and blessed we are to have him. He is such a joy! Sometimes I wish I could stop time and freeze both of our kids where they are now. Some of the things I want to always remember about where he is right now are:. How much I love and adore him!

Sticks, Snails, Puppy Dog Tails. A family full of boys The Nydeggers. Friday, September 2, 2011. Sammy - Age 3. This was an especially fun birthday for this boy. I was singing "Happy Birthday" all day long. Sammy wasn't quite sure what was going on at first. He was wishing me a "happy birthday" in return. By the end of the day, he could see that there was something special about this day - and he liked it. a lot. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Chicago, IL, United States. View my complete profile.

Sticks, Snails, Puppy Dog Tails. A family full of boys The Nydeggers. Friday, September 10, 2010. Danny is an amazing husband and father. I love him because he gets up every morning of the school year and makes lunches for the boys. I don't know why I hate making school lunches so much, but I do. I love him because after I'm done nursing my babies I rarely ever get up with them in the night again. I love sleep, and Danny loves me. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Chicago, IL, United States.

Sticks, Snails, Puppy Dog Tails: Danny
http://chicago-nydeggers.blogspot.com/2011/04/danny.html
Sticks, Snails, Puppy Dog Tails. A family full of boys The Nydeggers. Friday, April 8, 2011. I digitized some photographs that Danny's mom gave me. I love seeing pictures of Danny as a boy. He was so cute! This is Danny's eighth grade picture. I surrounded this picture with stars in my own yearbook. I love the smirk. Oooh, I could just bite those cheeks! This picture reminds me of my James. I know that the "shadow effect" is cheezy, but how can you not love that sweet expression in the background?

Monday, September 3, 2012. So we packed up, and headed out with the plan to just see how far we could get. As we started hiking, it began to sprinkle. We both looked at each other with that.hmmmmm.look, but kept going. A little further in and it started to pour! After the tent was set up, the clouds had blown over and the sun was shining through! It may be a great night after all, we thought. We made ourselves some breakfast burritos (with a freeze dried bag of eggs, etc.actually pretty good! We may actu...

Friday, September 14, 2012. It has been a long time since I last made bread. This is a ritual that my Mom did each week when I was growing up. I don't remember eating "store bought" bread very often. She was very dedicated and diligent! I am sure that none of us appreciated, at that time, the effort she made to do everything in her power to keep us healthy. AndI like to do it too:). ButI had made bread! It is kind of caveman like.although my conventional oven is a nice update :). Anyway.this rant is ...

Sticks, Snails, Puppy Dog Tails: It Snowed!
http://chicago-nydeggers.blogspot.com/2010/12/it-snowed.html
Sticks, Snails, Puppy Dog Tails. A family full of boys The Nydeggers. Sunday, December 26, 2010. My sister-in-law, Melissa, inspired me to try something new. After reading her blog I attempted to make my own snowflakes - and here they are. It took a few failed attempts, but I got it! Those are amazing Kate! What great designs. They look awesome with the pretty green background, too. December 26, 2010 at 7:23 PM. I would keep them up all winter. xox. December 27, 2010 at 6:36 AM. January 5, 2011 at 6:39 PM.
