Saturday, March 17, 2012. Happy St Patrick's Day! A Leprechaun stopped by our house last night to hide some treats for Kaitlyn and Audrey for the St. Paddy's Day Race today. The girls were up bright and early to head out in the cold rain for an exciting St Patrick's morning. We had just enough time after picking shirts and numbers to have breakfast at Paddy Coyne's. It is a lot of fun to watch Kaitlyn studying the adults all dressed up and excited to run at these events. So proud of my little runner!

Monday, May 2, 2011. Audrey accomplished an important first last weekend - her first time camping! Other than the chilly morning it was a perfect weekend. Audrey chowing down on chips (Mt Dew was not hers. Kaitlyn caught a few little trout - and had her first solo fish catch. She reeled it all the way herself. Her attention span is a little short still but she loved casting for five minutes here and there from the campsite. Watch out fish, here comes Kaitlyn's princess rod. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Beach Day - Spring must be on its way! January was filled with Rob working everyday, and the girls and I were in Minnesota for the entire month of February. It feels so great to be home and to spend some real time together! Some time at the beach was long overdue and the weather cooperated on Saturday. There is nothing like an afternoon of throwing rocks and watching the water to bring this family together. Looks like Daddy missed his girls. March 12, 2012 at 4:00 PM.

Monday, November 28, 2011. We started a wonderful new family tradition this year - Gig Harbor Turkey Trot! It was a ton of fun to get up and out in the morning and spend some time moving together. We are estimating that Kaitlyn ran about half a mile at the start of our 5K walk and she gave a good sprint to the finish line as well. Sunday, July 31, 2011. Our second camping trip of the summer was a huge success. Warmer temperatures and camping near the beach certainly helped. We camped at Fort Townsend State Park, near Port Townsend. Kaitlyn got a sleeping bag, just for her, before this trip. She loves it! The night which was a relief to us as well as all of the other campers I'm sure. It was a short walk from the campground to the beach, providing hours of easy entertainment for the kids. Sunday, June 12, 2011. Kaitlyn's Third Birthday Party Was A Hoot! I loved how every little detail of Kaitlyn's Birthday Party turned out!
