It's the Little Things...: September 2012
http://itsthelittlethings-lori.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
It's the Little Things. Saturday, September 8, 2012. My buddy Becky found this lazy susan at a rummage sale for a couple of dollars! I sanded it down and prepped it for paint. I gave it a few coats of my favorite spraypaint in a new color for me. Heirloom white. Very pretty and subtle. Pretty.but needed a little pizzaz! Add the cricut machine and a little black vinyl and ta-da! So pretty on my dining room table! I now want one for my sunporch table so I better set Becky out on a new scouting mission!

It's the Little Things...: Another makeover post!
http://itsthelittlethings-lori.blogspot.com/2014/07/another-makeover-post.html
It's the Little Things. Thursday, July 31, 2014. 2 posts in one week! Can you tell that it is summer? I bought this cute little table at a garage sale for $5! The person that was running the sale had said that she had thought about keeping it for herself but could not think about what to do with it. I did not have that problem at all! After sanding and priming I decided that I wanted to paint it yellow….I was slightly shocked at exactly how YELLOW Behr's honey locust was but I continued onward. J - Iris ...

It's the Little Things...: June 2012

It's the Little Things. Wednesday, June 27, 2012. And seriously, they were $2 each. How could I go wrong? After removing the seats, I taught Natalie the importance of priming. One can of primer per chair. (She looks like a pro doesn't she? They looked 100% better just with the primer! All covered and pretty with the help of my lovely assistant and his trusty-dusty staple gun! A great coat of paint and this was the end result. So pretty! I think the pair of chairs ended up costing $25! E- David Ebershoff ...

It's the Little Things...: Moving Right Along!
http://itsthelittlethings-lori.blogspot.com/2015/01/moving-right-along.html
It's the Little Things. Monday, January 5, 2015. It is amazing how much reading you can get done when you have 16 days off! One of the days I just sat and read! I finished my "C" book very quickly. It was a great story about a little girl in the pre-depression years who has a pretty tough life. It is interesting to see how she handles the many bad things that are thrown at her. The exciting thing for me is that there is a sequel! If you are interested in reading this book, I have linked the book to Amazon.

It's the Little Things...: October 2011
http://itsthelittlethings-lori.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
It's the Little Things. Sunday, October 30, 2011. No More Spring Regret! Okevery spring I say to myself."I love daffodils. They are my favorite flowers. Why didn't I plant more of them last fall? I will not be saying that next spring! Natalie and I just planted these. She is smiling and happy to help. She obviously had NO IDEA what was involved with planting 60 bulbs. She toughed it out through the WHOLE process and was a great assistant. She thought that it was funny that they looked like little onions.

It's the Little Things...: February 2015
http://itsthelittlethings-lori.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
It's the Little Things. Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Some progress was made in my reading challenge! Since I last posted, I finished my "D" book, The Boston Girl by Anita Diamant. I really enjoyed this book. It is told as a storyteller may tell it and it allows for a real connection to the main character. Addie is a spunky girl in a time that was a great transition for women. The turn of the century provided new opportunities for women and Addie was not too afraid to try and spread her wings! Here is a ...
