Is the Spanish word for stuffed. Fresh green poblano. At the market Doña Martha selected 20 large, firm poblano. Chiles without soft spots and with stems still attached. She fried the ground beef with a little chopped tomato and onion for filling half of the chiles. The other 10 will be filled with grated cheese and onions - just like the filling for enchiladas. Brenda and Roy Going To Mexico. Friday, January 31, 2014. Yes, I am still alive, I am just being extremely lazy when it comes to blogging. We haven't been doing anything exciting and I just haven't felt like writing about the weather, errands, classes, my painting, etc. On the way home I noticed a truck on the street selling tomatoes at 8 pesos a kilo, they have been very high priced lately and I have been wanting to make more spaghetti sauce to freeze, so I have been waiting for them to go down in price.

Tuesday, March 03, 2015. Susana, Artist and Teacher. A few days ago I went on a house tour, which is always fun and well-organized, a benefit that gives financial help to many different groups. One casa we visited is the home of Susana, located in Centro Histórico. Even without a common language it was clear to me that this artist, who gives workshops, is a very special and vibrant woman. I like how organized here paints are. She looks to have the gift of gab too. Most artists do. So shes a painter?
