Today I had the privilege to preach at the Baptist church in the gypsy village of Archita, one of the poorest villages here. This church is one of the many the Betania Baptist church here in Sighisoara have started within a gypsy village. Two others from our group preached at other locations this morning as well. Romania Mission Trip 2011. Saturday, October 15, 2011. Romania Mission Trip - Day Two. Me and Mario, a team member (on the right), with Maria and Peter. We had breakfast at the hotel this morning. It was simple but good. It consisted of sliced deli meat (ham and salami), cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes and bread. They also had non sweetened cereals. The best part was they had "normal" coffee. When we complemented them on their house, they said that it wasn’t much but they thanked the Lord for what they have and that it’s the Lord that gives them joy and they were content with what He has provided. Romania Mission Trip 2011. Friday, October 14, 2011. Romania Mission Trip - Day One. We have finally made it to Romania! We left Huntsville yesterday (Oct 13) at 12:45pm and checked into our hotel in Sighisoara around 8pm today (Oct 14). We flew from Huntsville to Charlotte - then to Munich, Germany where we had to a 6 hour layover – then we flew to Sibiu, Romania where we took a small bus to Sighisoara.
