http://herheartinhistory.blogspot.com/2012/09/lilac-striped-maternity-dress-done.html
Her Heart In History. Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Lilac Striped Maternity Dress - DONE! I finished my Lilac Striped Maternity dress in time for our late-June event. It was a dream to wear! So light and airy! The temperatures were very warm that weekend (though there was a nice breeze, fortunately) and I was perfectly comfortable all weekend! The dress has a half-high lining and v-neck to maximize the coolness of the fabric. The idea for the sleeves came from an auction site. I think, now that I'm not ...

Her Heart At Home. A Bit About Me. My Health Crises Story. My Health Crises Story. Nutrition Response Testing (NRT) has changed my life. In 2005 I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome caused by a reactivated Epstein Barr virus. The months leading up to that final diagnosis were filled with antibiotics (13 STRAIGHT weeks- which I now suspect had a LOT to do with being so. Like, "WHY do I feel so awful, ALL the time? Her Heart At Home. A Bit About Me. My Health Crises Story. Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Honey Sweetened Peanut Butter Fudge. I have had a hankering for peanut butter fudge for a long time. I searched high and low for a legal recipe- on the internet, in my sugar-free cookbooks, etc to no avail! The one that came the closest was a maple syrup recipe that I wasn't that thrilled with. So last night, I decided to just make up my own see what I could come up with! 1 cup of honey. 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter. Ever ...

Her Heart At Home. A Bit About Me. My Health Crises Story. Monday, December 12, 2011. Gluten-Free Christmas "Sugar" Cookies. Ever since we started the sugar-free and gluten-free way if eating, I have missed the tradition of rolling out sugar cookies and cutting them out in Christmas-y shapes. Last year I came across The Food Lovers' Primal Palates' Grain-free Gingerbread Cookie. Recipe and somewhat satisfied my desire for cut-out cookies. This year with the discovery of gluten-free pie crust. If you want...

Family Recipes Go Well With Rainy Mornings. May 4, 2014. Garret’s grandma gave us her mom’s recipe for Dutch Babies right after we got married, and it’s been one of our favorites for Sunday mornings ever since. This morning we got a little creative with it, and – not surprisingly, since Garret is excellent at improvising – they turned out fantastically. Updated Grandma’s Dutch Babies. 1 c all-purpose flour. 6 eggs, lightly beaten (we like ’em heavily beaten but not, like, meringued or anything). Am I sec...
