The other night the Edmonton Oilers eliminated the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in Game 5 of the NHL Western Conference Finals. Most of our friends and family live in the Toronto area and that can be very hard at times. Saturday, June 10, 2006. New York New York. I spent most of this week in New York. I was finishing up the JANSEN. Recordings. When everything is mixed and mastered, these songs are going to sound amazing. I can't wait for everyone to hear the finished product. We spent most of our time in the studio. Wednesday, March 22, 2006. Metric in an Imperial State. And I saw Metric. At the House of Blues. In San Diego with our friend Hanna. It was nice being able to see a popular Canadian band. Down here in SoCal. The tickets were only $12 and they were very easy to get. While Metric's music doesn't particularly move me, I do enjoy a great rock and roll show and that's what they give you. Emily Haines. Is the band. Without her they would be a very regular rock band. That I find really difficult to ignore.
