Bragging Rights: April 2011
http://seattlelingfamily.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Random updates from the Ling Family. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. We had a fantastic Easter week. End Aaron took the day off on Friday and we all headed to the farm for three days. The weather was amazing, mid-60's and not a cloud in the sky. We were long overdue for nice. As you can see Ava is standing up without holding onto anything and she is very proud of herself (as are we)! Doctor where they diagnosed him with two terrible ear infections. Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Saturday, April 16, 2011. She stan...

Bragging Rights: December 2010
http://seattlelingfamily.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Random updates from the Ling Family. Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Friday, December 10, 2010. November was a great month for us, we had my Mom, my sister-in-law and nephews in town visiting. Having my Mom here was fantastic, not only did it give me a much needed break but the kids got to spend some quality time with her. Ava. The kids got to visit with Santa so it was still a fun event for everyone. Evan was tentative with him as you can see from his very awkward smile! Mommy, what do I smell? As usual, ...

Bragging Rights: March 2011
http://seattlelingfamily.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Random updates from the Ling Family. Monday, March 7, 2011. My little peanut turned 9 months old today. She is doing all. Sorts of new 'tricks' now. She started crawling last week (mostly an army crawl at this point) and she moves fast! She is also pulling. The other day I brought up what he should do in an emergency if I was hurt (e.g. finding a phone in our house and dialing 911) and he looked at me with a very somber look on his face and said "why are you talking about this now"? Picture Window templa...

Bragging Rights: Ava at 14 Months Old
http://seattlelingfamily.blogspot.com/2011/08/ava-at-14-months-old.html
Random updates from the Ling Family. Monday, August 8, 2011. Ava at 14 Months Old. In the last month Ava has become a proficient walker and is adding new words to her vocabulary almost daily. She is extremely observant and watches Evan very closely attempting to repeat what he is doing or saying. She is a great eater typically but recently she decided she only wants what we are eating. And I don't mean the same. Food she wants OUR food off of OUR plate or she won't eat it! Ava at 14 Months Old.

Bragging Rights: July 2011
http://seattlelingfamily.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Random updates from the Ling Family. Friday, July 29, 2011. It has been amazing to witness the changes in Evan recently even in the last month since he has turned 4. His reading has taken off, as well as his writing, he just learned how to swim and he's been attempting to ride his bicycle with no training wheels with some success. I love just listening to him talk about things he's interested in. He actually teaches me about things now! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Alec: Tour de Parks
http://alecwalbrun.blogspot.com/2010/05/tour-de-parks.html
Updates on Alec and random ramblings from a first time father (and sometimes from his mother). Thursday, May 27, 2010. Today when we woke up, Alec informed me that he was pretending to be a "clever chicken". I asked the clever chicken if he would like to explore some new parks, and he clucked emphatically (which I interpreted as "yes"). I printed out a map of all the parks in the Queen Anne neighborhood and we hit the road. On the carousel, and then jumping on to join me. The little daredevil!

Fred Meyer as seen from the shopping cart. Dad sitting and relaxing? Better snap a pic quick-doesn't happen often. Has he taken a picture of the gerbils? These pictures are great!

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Archive for September, 2013. First Day Of School. September 11, 2013. You were not into it. I was shocked! You started telling me you didn’t want to go. You didn’t want me to leave you, etc. For a moment I started to wonder if you were going to be the kid clinging to my leg at drop off. I’ve never experienced that before and always felt horrible for the mom who had to say goodbye to the crying kid. Blog at WordPress.com.
