Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Method throttling using AOP. I recently worked on a project involving access to an external Web Service implementing a throttling policy. Basically my account is allowed to generate traffic at specifics rates (2 request per minute for example). The throttling policy is applied at operation level, and the project neeeded to access different operations concurrently. The implementation uses Spring AOP stuff (that's great) and uses groovy as main language.

Friday, April 15, 2011. A base repository based on spring-data-jpa SimpleJpaRepository. I've spent last month playing around recent java technologies. In particular I've made some experiments with NetBeans/Glassfish and Java EE 6. I've to admit that I was pretty impressed, now creating java web applications is a lot simpler than in the past.
