Yes, but on horses and with a better guide than myself. After returning home and plugging Chris's watch into the the computer, which has a GPS, we found that Lake Ann was over the mountain thats on the very left side of the pic and where we gave up was less than 1 mile away :(. His spiffy rain coat which came in handy. Every once and a while we would have to stop and warm chewy up, he was soaked. When warm he was on turbo mode running and chasing everything. So excited for Jurassic World. He was OBSESSED with the books and all things dinosaurs as a kid. We Love love love Bahama Bucks, so does does Chewy-they always give him his very one snowball. This guy wasn't a fan of sitting inside of the boat but loved sitting on the top of it. He just sat there and watched the Herrings and the other girls that were in the canoe. The Sunset was AMAZING. I don't have any official pictures of the big T-day meal but I do have some of us goofing around. We spent the day at my moms brothers house with lots of family and food. The icicles were massive. March and April 2015. The beginning of March my aunt and uncle from CO came for a dental lecture so we met up with them for dinner at Texas de Brasil. We didn't get a picture with them but of course we got one with out desert. I was so glad weather was nice while she was here and was able to get in a lot of pool time. The water was freezing but she got in. Uh no thanks. McKinney square for pie and live music. This place has been one of my most favorite finds while in Dallas. Did not plan on twinning.

Between the thunder and chewy being so freaked about by the thunder and lighting we didn't get any sleep at night. So glad its over now, we were about to loose our minds. Chewy made a spectacle of himself chasing squirrels up trees so much in fact he had many onlookers taking videos and pictures of him. This restaurant is obviously outdoors and had live music. It had the funnest vibe and I definitely felt like I was in the south which I loved. May 31 our first day of sunshine in weeks.

We hit 81 degrees to only have it go back down to 45 the next day. Seasonal allergies are in full swing and it is a first for me. Not a fan. Chris is dissecting a cadaver in school. He worked on cadavers in undergrad but they were already skinned and cut to perfection (I feel a bit weird saying that but its true) but now he is actually doing the skinning and cutting. January was quite the boring month but we are one month closer to Spring, which we are beyond ready for. Proof it was 81 degrees!

The grueling work of shearing sheep has been in my family for years. It started with my grandfather who ran a sheep shearing crew who traveled all over Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, and Wyoming. This was how he supported his wife and 13. My dad shearing one of his own sheep. The shearing trailer my grandpa built and is still used to this day. The sheep shearers kick the wool down a shoot. Chris finished his first Tri of chiropractor school with flying colors. Hayley started a full time job right by our house. No more Dallas traffic! We made the trek from Dallas to to southern Colorado. It is the most boring drive, it is long and ugly. Chewy is a champ traveling though. Jerrica made it home from 1.5 years in Brazil. Her flight from Denver to Alamosa was delayed due to snow. A tad different than how she left the 107 degree weather in Brazil. Waiting at the airport for Jerricas arrival.

At the end of my last post I had said to " stay tuned for more of the story was to unfold" at that moment we knew things were going to eventually change but we had no idea how soon. Its not that unusual for him to pursue this field because initially thats what he was going to school for years ago but his path changed (thankfully so we could meet) and he pursued other things.
