I have also noticed that while classes roughly start and end on time, it largely varies on when a teacher finishes their lesson and moves onto the next classroom or whether they stop to have a conversation with a teach on their way to the next classroom. Granted I cannot hear what the conversations are about, but it does seems to cause some delays. Recess area in front of the classrooms. Me gusta la comida!

Unsurprisingly, the Mexican complexion is dark but many will still wear long pants in this heat because I assume they’re simply used to it. Shorts are not necessarily frowned upon, but not commonly seen. Many of the tourist stands and stores sell traditional looking clothes but most people wear very westernized clothes. I wore a Michigan t-shirt and all the street vendors would call me out by it, so while it was annoying at times, it was somewhat satisfying to have so many people say “Hey Michigan! E ilustraciones de Rosa Osuna. Es un libro precioso con un mensaje muy bonito, pero lo que atrajo mi atención fueron las ilustraciones. No hay una perspectiva correcta en todo el libro, casi como que se pierde la noción. Pienso los arboles verdes, el cielo celeste, el sol amarillo, el mar azul, automaticamente.
