I decided I wanted to sew an heirloom dress for the occasion and with help from my dear sisters, I was able to complete the project just in time. Now I know why heirloom outfits cost hundreds of dollars. I'm glad I did it, but I'm not sure I'd do it again. This is her cousin Owen who was born two weeks after she was:. The dress and bonnet:.
