My first painted wooden ornament made for the Blooming Complimentary Swap Challenge with Louise Gale. 5 x 7 gallery wrapped canvas painted with watercolor and acrylics and stamping techniques. This was done for my Goddaughter as a birthday gift, with the words "Follow yours Dreams" written on the back. My first large mixed media canvas! In the style of my favorite artist, Gustav Klimt, inspired by Tamara Laporte. 18 x 24 gallery wrapped canvas using watercolor crayon, acrylics and collage techniques.

Thursday, 21 April 2011. To make this book sculpture you will need:. 1 Hardback book around 400 pages. Firstly I opened the book in the center letting the pages fall open. I then carefully removed the pages from the center that tended not to lie flat. To make the center of the roses take one page and fold in half length ways, cut a thin strip along the fold (keep this strip for later). Repeat this process giving you four strips of equal width.
