Monday, November 10, 2008. A Day With My Sister. Today I decided to go and spend the day with my sister, Becky. As I mentioned before Becky is a Master Gardener (she is also a really good artists with different priorities). It is really something how as kids you can fight and squabble and then all of a sudden when you grow up everything can change. You find you want to be together, like best friends, but different. Well, I'm worn out from visiting her. She never rests; busy, busy, busy all of the tim...

Tuesday, June 30, 2009. 45" X 6.5". White Flowers Teal Vase. 65" X 4.5. It is so hard to photograph the encaustic pieces. The wax either has a glare on it from the texture or else the color fades away. You can never get that beautiful translucency to show. I looked back at the painting of "Winter Trees" that I entered in a show and got rejected, it doesn't even look like the painting and the color is totally washed out. I really need to figure this out. Posted by Sally Arnold. Wednesday, June 3, 2009.

Sally Arnold: December 2008
http://sallyarnold.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 10, 2008. When I was a little girl my family got loads of Christmas cards. My mother always displayed them in the living room. We had venetian blinds and the cards would be slipped on them with the picture showing. We had windows across the front and side of the living room and by Christmas they were completely covered with beautiful cards from friends from all over. This blog will include instructions on how to make your own Christmas cards. Posted by Sally Arnold. I can't believe it.

As you can see in the second picture he is plowing up all of the grass as he disposes of the branches. That is one way to prepare the soil when you have to seed again. He really loves working outside with all of his tools. He has chainsaws to cut trees down and a wo. Terry's coming in for lunch. Later. Sally. In Gaines...

So this morning as I was making back the sofabed where the girls always like to sleep (I think because Toby like to jump up their with them) when I keep them, I asked Terry if he thought the three girls could fit on the sofabed. He thought so, for awhile anyway, till they get a little bit bigger. It is exciting to watch Michael, Alexandria and Bailey growing up so qui. Left is Ava (5), center is Bailey Hope (6) and Alexandria (9) on the right. Posted by Sally Arnold.

Wednesday, March 25, 2009. We have wanted to make a new gate for a long time. Did you catch the "make"? I am very fortunate that I have been married 41 years to a very talented man. He is always anxious to build something, especially when we can save money doing it. Terry decided we would finally replace the old red gate (it's laying on the ground on the right) with a new wood/metal gate. He needed a new project and we needed a new gate since the old one was rusting out. Posted by Sally Arnold. Spring is...

Saturday, November 27, 2010. Just some fun pictures. All of our grandkids, mine and Becky's. Michael and Bailey followed by Katie, Stanley and Maddox. Sunday, September 28, 2008. Can any one ever resist a new puppy? I would like to introduce you to Toby our precious little white labrador retriever. We couldn't take him home yet, just picking him out of the litter. You know that "first pick" is always the best. The little collar that we put on him then, let the people that had the puppies, know that he was ours. Posted by Sally Arnold. Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Early Morning and the First Light. I have been reading my friends blogs and they seem to...
