Fortunately, we found Highway 29. It was a much prettier shortcut through the rural farms and foothills of the Adirondacks to Johnstown, New York. On the Road Again. Wednesday, September 17, 2008. 33 Michigan and Minnesota. We eventually arrived in the town of Lapeer, just east of Flint, Michigan. We spent the night at their small municipal campground. It was one of the cleanest we’ve seen anywhere, and we’ve seen all kinds. Very nice community too. On the Road Again. Monday, April 7, 2008. 3 - Wine Country. We arrived in the Alexander Valley in California’s wine country on March 31. We settled into a beautiful space at the Russian River campground, which is nestled in a narrow canyon full of oak and manzanita along the river a few miles north of Cloverdale. Or only eight quarters. That left us with enough pocket change for a couple deluxe burgers at Pick’s, an authentic 50’s style burger joint. Delicious! Ron and Bonnie Hough. 3 - Wine Country.

On the Road Again. Sunday, May 18, 2008. 16 Just Another Week in Florida. We got a personal tour of Punta Gorda, including some shopping at the Fishermens Village (how about that fish? About 40 miles south of Punta Gorda, Ft. Myers is home to the winter estates of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford. The properties are side-by-side and open to the public. We expected just another ho-hum house tour, but it was much more interesting than we thought it would be. We spent several hours there. Ron and Bonnie Hough.

Sunday, July 13, 2008. Jade and Shay Kickin' It By The Pool. Some of the pond. Flowers are starting to bloom. We cleaned up that old engine and gave it a little paint. The Front End Had To Come Out! After a long look at the suspension we decided to take it out to get a better look at it.
