One day, on a nice day in Seattle, friends said, “Let’s eat at the Cheesecake Factory and then go to the Bellevue Botanical Gardens! 8221; and so we did! We are reacquainting ourselves with Seattle sites since we’ve had more time here. Everything is so beautiful – especially if the weather is good! Glad to know that! Reminds us of the stacked stones in Kona. Dry bed streams - Joan likes those. Finally seeing a trillium.

Ron and Joan's Journey. Friday, August 28, 2015. Ron Has Another “Project”. He is smiling, but.is it really fun? Tree roots are in the main sewer line in Andy's back yard, oh boy! Ron had not used the plumbers’ eel before outside but he had seen it done in our Ohio house. We looked on YouTube. It’s quite a process and can be scary and can also break the pipe if you’re not careful or something goes wrong, and then you have a real mess. But it worked out well, quite interesting. Ron and Joan's Journey. Monday, March 23, 2015. 8220;Fin Art” – What Is It? The Sand Pont Naval Air Station in Seattle was closed in 1995 and became the Warren G. Magnuson Park and in 1998, a sculpture project,. The Fin Project: From Swords to Plowshares." Made from submarine fins, each one has a plaque describing from which submarine it came. The sculpture project title comes from Micah 4:3:. Mt Rainer watches over the lakefront park above the clouds. Beautiful walk along the lake. It sold within a week!

Ron and Joan's Journey. Saturday, May 30, 2015. We helped out at the church's garage sale Fri and Sat. We had not planned to but we had given the telescope that we had gotten at a garage sale in Ohio and brought it here for the 3 bedroom condo, to set up and look good as it faced to the view. No need for it in our condo, and we couldn't get much for it in Craigslist. We realized we would need to set it up ourselves to show off it the best. The telescope went very early and people were fighting over it.
