Climb Kilimajaro's Rongai Route. Climbing From The North. Recommended Days: 7 or more. Rongai is considered to have a moderate difficulty level. Suitable for trekkers who are less experienced. Trekking conditions are better than other routes during the rainy season due to less rain on the North side of Kilimanjaro. Scenery is very good on the Rongai route and is varied since it uses different ascend and descent trails. Traffic is low on Rongai, due to the remoteness of its starting point.
