Worked on an interesting problem with my kid the other day. How do you programmatically determine if a word is a palindrome? Firstly, a palindrome is a word that is the same word in either forward or reverse direction. For example the word ‘dad’ is a palindrome and also the word ‘racecar’. This is actually a really simple programming exercise. This is what you need to do. Capture the word in the program passed in by the user. Turn the word into an array of letters. Here’s my quick solution in Python.
