Some Anthropological Notes: Donkey vs. Cinema
http://dentzia.blogspot.com/2009/03/donkey-vs-cinema.html
Saturday, March 14, 2009. Donkey vs. Cinema. Here's a story I heard from a friend yesterday:. You know my grandfather and his family used to live in Jaffa in the 1930s. They had a donkey back then. However, when the riots started (mid 1930s), they had to run for their lives, and left their donkey behind. They went to seek refuge in the North of Tel Aviv. Can you imagine - seeking refuge in North Tel Aviv? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Roni Enten - Nutrition Counselor. View my complete profile.

Some Anthropological Notes: March 2009
http://dentzia.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Ode to Tel Aviv. Today I'm checking out of the David InterContinental after a 18 nights stay. First thing I saw in the mornings is the sea. Then I get out of bed, overlooking the beach from the 17th floor. It's such a nice beach - you know, a proper aqua blue color, with proper yellow/white sand, and huge waves crashing on the rocks (where there are rocks, of course). It's so different from Sandymount beach that I got to know quite well while in Dublin! Saturday, March 14, 2009.

Saturday, May 31, 2008. How not to Write, Part II. Apparently, some haven't read, nor implement, my How not to Write. Lesson from last June. I wonder, though, how long does someone have to live in the US, illegally of course, without knowing how to spell EUROPEAN. In the picture you can see Ellen, our expert copywriter. Pointing the fatal mistake. It is fatal, taking into consideration nobody have stop this from becoming a big sign alongside one of the main roads in Las Vegas. Wednesday, May 7, 2008.

Some Anthropological Notes: February 2009
http://dentzia.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 21, 2009. This is what I see when I look out of the window:. In the evenings we can both see everything that's happening in the other side of the street. If you pity us, then don't! We have a river view as well, which makes things nicer when we do bother to look out of the window. Here's the story of one of the neighbours, we call her "our friend":. Just because we can see everything! And how do we know she's living on her own? We live in this apartment for 8 months now, but only latel...

Tuesday, April 22, 2008. Live from Terminal 5! Friday, April 18, 2008. Girls with bike are evil! Disclaimer: Apologies, dear Irish friends, this has nothing against you, but the great service we all experience everywhere, here in Ireland. I've had enough :-) as well! This is one of my latest adventures in the DART, Dublin Area Rapid Transit, or in other words - the Dublin suburban train. It happened last Saturday, and it still makes me angry when I think of it, so I decided to share it with you. So I had...
