The whole thing started as repairs to a broken bowl! When Pat left the country on sabbatical I continued to explore the concept, but sought even greater contrasts of media. First fine copper wire, then even finer wire, but now in the form of braid. The lacing pattern also evolved, from random appearance in early vessels to a highly stylized cross-pattern on the outside surface of the vessel, and a double straight-across on the inside.
