A weblog focused on contemporary poetry and poetics. Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Is a very good motion picture, a superb one in many respects. But count me out of any attempts to raise this film to the level, say, of The Godfather. Or even Lord of the Rings. Or, for that matter, the last film in which Heath Ledger and Christian Bale both appeared, the Dylan biopic, I’m Not There. There is something missing right at the core of this event. The alleged gore that greets Two-Face is right out of The Terminator.

After Long Busyness: A Poetry Blog. 8220;Every day I did not spend in solitude was wasted.”. So, Eric, what is a born-again death wish? Photography is an art form, like all creative disciplines, must be learned by doing. One does not think during creative work any more than one thinks while driving a car. But one has a background of years - learning, unlearning, success, failure, dreaming, thinking, experience, all this - then the moment of creation, the focusing of all into the moment. Behind this is all the eyes have seen in this life to influence me.
